Construction
Hull deck and superstructure moulded from hand laid GRP with white Gel Coat Finish incorporating a GRP Radar/ Antenna Arch, the decks also include a moulded non slip surface.

The Hull is a modified Deep ‘V’ design giving a smoother ride through the water with better fuel economy.

Machinery:
Power is provided by 2 economical Volvo AQ171 4 cylinder inline fresh water cooled petrol engines rated @ 125hp each driving Volvo 270 outdrive legs with a 3 bladed propellers.

This craft has also been fitted with an independent diesel powered Eberspacher warm air heating system directed to the cockpit area. The outdrive legs also have an electric tilt/trim mechanism. The Helm position houses full engine instrumentation.

Full Engine service 2006 to include new Anodes & New Leg Gaiter

We understand from the vendor that this craft will cruise comfortably at 10 knots with this engine installation.

Electrics:
This craft has both 12 & 220volt electrical supply systems. The 12 volt system comprises of 3 x 12 volt batteries two are used for dedicated engine starting with the third operating the vessels domestic systems. The batteries are charged from the engine alternators whilst running. The craft is also fitted with a 220 volt sure power circuit with an inline battery charger and also a ring main with 6 3 pin sockets.

Accommodation:
The Princess Riviera offers spacious 4 berth accommodation in 1 private double cabin running laterally under the cockpit with a further two singles /optional double in the saloon

Internally the craft is light and airy due to the large deck forward deck hatch, 5 hull mounted port lights and large companion way entrance. Although the saloon area is not normally used

For dining it offer a ‘U’ shaped settee with seating for six. Midships to starboard is the heads compartment with an electrically operated toilet with macerator, waste can be diverted to either the onboard holding tank or pumped direct to sea. The basin has H&C water supply with a shower head faucet.

The galley to port is well equipped with a two burner gas cooker with oven and grill, 12/220 volt refrigerator twin round stainless steel sinks with H&C supply and good onboard storage.

The very large cockpit offers ‘U’ seating for 6 persons with large folding cockpit table. All cockpit seating is upholstered in white Vinyl for easy cleaning. For evening use the vessel has been fitted with both accent and down light . This craft also benefits from a bathing platform with ladder and transom shower.

Comments
The Princess 286 Riviera is a stylish looking sports type cruiser which is very much in keeping with today’s styling. ‘Georgia in particular is a nice clean and well maintained example of her class and a real credit to her owner. The spacious accommodation both with in the vessel and in the cockpit makes this boat an ideal platform for entertaining friends on the water.

I am sure this craft will not be on the market long so would suggest early viewing.
