Construction:
Hull moulded in hand laid glass fibre matt with polyester resins and finished in gelcoat now over painted. Decks and superstructure of GRP with original white gelcoat finish with sand coloured non slip painted panel to side decks and coach roof. This craft is designed as a centre cockpit heavy cruising craft with a high Galleon stern offering good protection from a following sea and giving height to the aft cabin.

The underwater profile is that of a long keel with a centreboard plate.

Steering is via a centrally mounted binnacle with wheel.

Machinery:
Auxiliary power is provided by a single Perkins 4107 4 cylinder naturally aspirated inboard diesel engine rated @ 41hp. This engine is both fresh and raw water cooled via a heat exchanger.

Electrics:
The craft is fitted with a 12volt electrical system comprising of 2 batteries both charged by the engine alternator whilst running, with one battery dedicated to engine starting and the other supplying the ships domestic systems.

A battery charger on a basic 220 volt system is fitted.

    Mast Spars and Rigging:
    The craft is built primarily as a Ketch with a mast head main and fore sail and a Mizzen mast.
    Mast & Booms are of anodised aluminium with all standing rigging being of stainless steel.

    The head sails are of a hank on type with the forestay being fitted to a non extending Bow Sprit.

    Running Rigging is all operated and secured at the masts.

    Accommodation:
    The accommodation in the Atlantic clipper comprises of a forward heads compartment with sail locker, the saloon offering 3 berths and an Aft cabin offering upto a further three berths.

    Within the saloon there is also a Galley area to Port and a Chart / Nav area to Starboard.

    The galley is fitted with a two burner cooker with oven and grill and basin with cold pumped

    Fresh water and a large stowage bin with access from both the top and side. To starboard is the chart table with a quarter berth behind.

    The craft does benefit from full standing headroom throughout.

    A robustly built sea kindly craft with a forgiving nature for the not so experienced sailer, and ideal for the family. Offered at a realistic asking price and although some tidying is involved it is a craft that can be personalized to your own taste.
