Construction:
Deep ‘V’ planing hull with spray chines, moulded from hand laid GRP with white gelcoat finish. The aft has an integral bathing platform with a dolphin nose anchor platform at the Bow.

Machinery:
Power is provided by twin Mercruiser 5.7ltr LX Thunderbolt V8 inboard petrol engines rated at 260hp each driving a pair of Mercruiser outdrive legs with power tilt. In addition to the leg trim this craft is fitted a smart system trim tab package by Bennett trim tabs. The cockpit houses a full range of engine monitoring gauges and dials, together with trim and balance indicators.

Electrics:
This craft is fitted with 110volt electrics via a transformer, and 110volt 4Kva Generator to run the ships main supply circuitry.

The 12 volt system comprises of 3 x 12 vlt batteries with 2 batteries dedicated to engine starting the third is for domestic use, The batteries are either charged from the engine alternators whilst running or the generator/mains Pro 7 Smart battery charger.

Spacious open plan forward accommodation with generous 6’ x 7’ double berth forward with curtain divider

Hanging lockers and under berth storage. Good size heads to port with sea toilet, H/C water supply and shower with sump pump. The heads will discharge to either a holding tank or to sea via a diverter valve the electric toilet is also fitted with a macerator pump.

The ‘C’ shaped saloon seating on the starboard side offers under seat storage the saloon table will lower to allow conversion to a further 6’ x 3’ 6” single berth whilst opposite to port is a well equipped galley with a pressurized spirit/electric dual heat hob , Microwave and convector oven, and refrigerator with ice making facilities. The well planned work surface houses a S/s sink hot and cold pressurised water system.

Aft of the galley is a further double berth which runs transverse under the cockpit this berth measures 6’4” x 4’ 1” . The saloon benefits from re- circulating air conditioning. Also within the saloon area is an onboard entertainment area TV /DVD & Radio/cassette system with cockpit speakers. Hot water system renewed in 2006 to include calorifier with electric immersion element.

The Chaparral Signature 31 had a healthy production run for 5 years. It has a fabulous cockpit arrangement and a very comfortable interior for all your family needs.

This family cruiser is built upon a solid fibreglass bottom, with a moderate beam. She cruises very comfortably in varying sea conditions due to the modified ‘V’ Hull with 20 degree of deadrise and weighs in at 9,800lbs..

We understand that this craft will cruise happily in the high 20’s and tops out around 40Knts.
