Construction:
Hull deck and superstructure moulded in hand laid GRP with an off white gelcoat finish.
The design is constructed on a variable ‘V’ hull with a 16° deadrise aft with the bow deep ‘V’ configuration giving a soft entry into head seas ensuring good sea keeping in heavy weather.
With full length spray deflectors and a pronounce chine knuckle helps keep the boat dry and gives the boat lift for good planning performance. The hull also benefits from an extensive network of both transverse and longitudinal stringers glassed into the skin to strengthen all stress areas.
No fillers are used in the construction and the hull/ deck joint is bolted and bonded together.

Cockpit
The spacious cockpit is self draining, and offers a large helms mans bench with a further full width transom seat which converts to a double sun lounger / extra berth if required. The large toughened glass wind screen with 2 x wipers is fitted with studs for the water barrier section of the full cockpit canopy.

Engines:
Power is provided by 2 Volvo Penta AQ171 4 cylinder overhead cam petrol engines rated @approx 125hp each driving a pair of Volvo 290 outdrive legs. The engines are fresh water cooled via raw water heat exchangers, with the port engine feeding the domestic hot water calorifier.
Engine operation is via a pair of single lever throttle/gear controls, and the steering is operate by a cable system.
Instrumentation comprises of : Pt & Std tachometers, temperature gauges, oil pressure, volt meters, and trim gauges.

Electrics:
The craft is fitted with a 12 volt system comprising of 2 x 135 Ahr Heavy duty batteries, charged from the engine alternators. A 240vlt Shore power system is also fitted with 3 x UK type 3 pin sockets.

Accommodation
This craft offers four berth accommodation with a large ‘U’ shaped setee in the saloon which converts into a double berth by use of an infill panel, a further double berth runs transverse under the cockpit floor. The interior I equipped with a galley comprising of a sink with H&C pressurised water system, 2 burner gas hob with Oven and grill, and refrigerator with stowage lockers behind, Opposite is a heads compartment with basin and shower and curtain H&C Water supply and sea toilet.aft of the heads compartment is a separate double cabin with the berth running laterally under the Helmsmans seating, this
cabin also has an opening hatch for
ventilation.
Interior linings are a mixture of teak faced Plywood, Gelcoated Fibreglass or Vinyl mounted panels, all materials are in very good condition,as are the soft furnishings.

Standing headroom is available in the heads compartment, Aft end of the saloon and entrance to the aft cabin.


Comments
The Fairline Sunfury proved a very popular design for its builders offering a spacious
Accommodation plan due to its 3.00mtr beam, against a relatively short length
made this craft very stable on the water.

With a low air draft and sensible sized engines this craft is equally suitable for inland waterways use.

This craft is a good example of the class and has not been dressed for sale. ‘Nadia’ is ready to cruise.
