Heavily constructed hull, moulded from hand laid glass with white gelcoat finish and is built to Lloyds accepted standards with a Lloyds construction certificate issued.
Deck and superstructure of constructed of hand laid GRP balsa sandwich with gel coat finish, with new rubber ‘Tek Dek’™ simulated teak planking over marine ply under boards.
The Fin keel is a through bolted cast Iron type, with the rudder being a semi balanced skeg hung blade with wheel steeing.

Electrical:
This craft is fitted with both a 12 volt and 210/230 volt shore power system.
The 12 volt system comprises of a dedicated engine start battery of 85A/h and a 100 Ah 12 volt service battery, both batteries are charged from the engine alternator, with main distribution through a four position master switch allowing for power to be taken from the service batteries for engine starting in case of emergency. Secondary distribution to services is via a multi-gang
Switch panel with circuit breakers.

The 210/230 volt shore power system comprises of a ring main with sockets and a built in battery charging system. This system is protected by an RCD in the AC distribution panel

Mast Spars & Rigging:
Rigged as a Bermudan Mast head sloop with in-mast roller reefing to the Mainsail and roller reefing Genoa. The twin spreader Mast, boom and spinnaker pole is of Silver Anodized Aluminium all by Kemp Masts. The standing rigging is stainless steel 1 x 19 wire of 7mm & 8mm diameter.
All running rigging led back to cockpit through deck organizers with 9 Spinlock XP rope clutches. There are 2 x Lewmar 30 self tailing halyard winches and 2x Lewmar 46 Self tailing Sheet winches

The Westerly Ocean Ranger offers spacious interior Accommodation with berthing for seven, this comprises of a forward double/twin cabin with 6’2” x 6’4” ‘ V’ berth, with hanging locker, Fiddle shelves and stowage under the bunk. A large deck
hatch with a roller blind offers natural light ventilation. Headroom in his cabin is measured at 6’00”.

The Owners large walk in double cabin is Located aft and is fitted with en’suite facilities, Hanging wardrobe locker space with further Stowage under the berth.
Aft of the forward cabin is a good sized separate heads compartment with Sea toilet, wash basin with faucet shower head and H/C water supply , a teak grating is fitted to assist with showering and compartment has a integral mirror fronted

In the saloon you will find seating for nine around the centrally mounted drop leaf table with a large ‘C’ shaped settee
to Port with a straight bench settee to starboard. Standing height in this area is measured at 6’5”. By converting the
table will give you a double berth, whilst the straight settee give the further single berth. Again stowage is available
under the seating areas whilst additional stowage is available from high level cupboards.
