Construction:
Hull , Deck and superstructure in GRP with white gelcoat and teak rubbing strake. The Decks are painted in non slip paint with Non slip treadmaster panels in the cockpit
Cast iron keel with a stainless steel assembly rudder with a solid fibreglass blade and stainless plate insert
Wheel steering on this centre cockpit craft with cable cable system to quadrant.

Mechanical:
Mercedes OM 636 42hp naturally aspirated diesel engine on flexibly mounts giving an approx cruising speed of 5-6 knots and a maximum of 7 knots. Three bladed propeller. This engine is fresh water cooled via a heat exchanger.

This craft benefits from 7 berths in 3 cabins
A comfortable roomy interior fitted out in solid and veneered sapele wood trim with a layout well suited to offshore cruising with two good seaberths in the saloon , chart table at ½ chart size and plenty of stowage.
The heads compartment a toilet with wash hand basin and shower has a large hanging locker opposite,separating the forward cabin from the saloon area.
The galley has the benefit of Hot & cold pumped water to the sink plus a cooker,cool box and a fridge For comfort the boat has a catalytic fire.
The cabin headlining was renewed in 2004.
The aft cabin can be entered from the cockpit and while at sea it provides two cosy sea berths , but is probably more suited to children.
If the boat is sailed short handed it can be used as an oversized lazarette.
