The topsides have been sprayed navy blue but retaining the white decks and coachroof. All external wood work has been sanded back and treated with Olwatrol wood conditioner. The craft is fitted with a transom hung rudder which has benefited from new pintal bushes in 2004 Engine: Auxiliary power is provided by a Beta BD722 20hp fresh water cooled 3 cylinder inboard diesel engine complete with Technodrive TCM 2:1 ratio gearbox fitted in 2004 including New coupling ,deep sea seal & shaft . All skin fittings replaced 2004 Electrical: This vessel is fitted with both 12volt D.C and 240 volt A.C systems. Both systems benefit from being re-wired in 2004. The batteries are charged from the engine alternator with trickle charging from a solar panel. The 240 volt battery charger can be added to the 240 volt shore power ring main. Inventory Deck: Navigation: Mast spars and rigging. Rigged as a Masthead Bermudan sloop this craft is fitted with a gold anodised aluminium mast with single spreaders and boom, All standing rigging is of stainless steel, with Headsail Roller reefing fitted to the forestay. Sails: Accommodation: ‘Becket’ offers 3 berth accommodation with a double berth in the fore peak and a single in the saloon on the portside, a shorter settee is located on the starboard side. A heads compartment is located between the fore’ard cabin and saloon, this is fitted with a sea toilet which was new in 2004. The interior décor is predominantly highly varnish Hard wood with much attention to detail taken in the manufacture of the cabinet /locker doors. A centrally mounted folding table with alternating light and darkwood planking neatly secures to the forward bulkhead/compression post which when lowered reveals and adequate drinks rack. The compact galley boasts a 2 burner hob with grill, pressurised cold water system, and an 12volt coolbox / fridge. Upholstery is in a Burgundy cotton light canvass type material. Comments: Since the crafts refit through 2004, ‘Beckett’ has been very lightly used. And is now awaiting a new owner to enjoy all the new bits.
