Construction
Hull Deck and Superstructure moulded in Australia in 1974 and completed in 1976 with all internal fitting out and joinery completed by the owner.

The underwater profile is that of a Long Keel with a skeg hung rudder with is rod and chain operated from an internal and external helm position. The wheelhouse is constructed of timber and is well painted, and gives access to the side decks by a sliding door on the starboard side.
This craft has a displacement weight of 20 tons

Machinery

Power is provided by a Perkins 6354 6 cylinder naturally aspirated inboard diesel engine rated at 120hp, this in turn drives a 3:1 ratio gearbox connecting a conventional shaft with a four bladed propeller.

Electrics

Ships electrical systems are 12 volt with batteries charged from engine alternator and 240 volt Shore power system with ring main and power points in the lower and upper saloon Galley and Aft owners cabin.

Mast Spars Rigging and Sails

Rigged as a Cutter Ketch the Mast’s and Booms are a Timber construction, Rigging comprises of a stainless steel forestay with Galvanised steel shrouds, the sail wardrobe is as follows: 2 x Jibs with Hanks , Mizzen, Main, Staysail, and Yanky.


Accommodation:

The interior is very spacious and was designed with a couple in mind, therefore there is only one dedicated Double sleeping cabin aft. The foc’sle is taken by a large toilet/ shower compartment with Seatoilet, Shower & Wash Basin with Hot and cold water pressurised fresh water.

Coming aft is the very large lower saloon with a settee berth both Port and starboard and a small centrally mounted table.

The wheel house is shared with the galley and dinette, as you would expect this is very light and airy with plenty of room, the galley comprises of a 4 burner gas cooker with oven Stainless steel sink with pressurized H/C water, refrigerator and water gas water heater.


Beyond the wheelhouse and down a couple of steps is the aft double cabin.

Bulkheads and linings are mainly timber.
