The craft underwent a full hull polish Antifoul and and Anode change in June 2008 Machinery Power is provided by twin Caterpillar 300hp Turbo assisted diesel engines driving conventional shafts with 4 bladed propellers fitted with rope cutters. A debug filter is incorporated within the fuel system. Steering is hydraulic to both the upper and lower helm positions, and the craft is also fitted with Bow and Stern thrusters and trim tabs. Full engine monitoring instrumentation is fitted at the lower helm The engines are controlled by Kobalt Gear /throttle controls, of a commercial quality. We understand from the vendors information that the vessel has a cruising range of approx 750 miles at 15 knots. The deep sea shaft seals were replaced in 2006. Accommodation ‘Bracer’ offers beautifully appointed accommodation. All internal joinery is in teak. 1 x Single berth in saloon , 1 x “V” berth cabin for’ard, with the owners double cabin aft with en-suite facilities. A further Double berth is available by using Dinette conversion. A communal heads/shower compartment with sea-toilet and Basin with H/C shower faucet, is located to starboard between the forward cabin and Galley area. The craft has electric toilets for your convenience. The galley is equipped with a 4 burner SMEV gas hob and oven, Extractor Fan, Isotherm 12/240v Refrigerator, Isotherm 12/240v chest freezer, Sharp Microwave oven, Twin S/s sink with H/C mixer tap, Upper and low level dry storage cupboards and draws. To port is the dinette area with seating for 4 persons. The separate saloon comprises of a long settee to Port with seating for 6 persons whilst the lower helm is located to starboard with a single pedestal helmsmans seat. The cabin soles are a Holly veneer. Four steps lead to the upper helm position and sun deck. The bathing platform is accessed from the sundeck and is equipped with a full height transom ladder and a deck shower with H/C water. ‘Bracer’ is fitted with 2 x integral holding tanks totalling 60 gallons (270 lts) with deck and underwater discharge facility. She also carries 100 gallons (450lts) of fresh water in a single GRP integral tank. Both H&C domestic supplies are run through a 12v electrical pressurised system with an accumulator tank. Hot water is supplied from the engine whilst running and also a 1kw immersion heater. HFL Air Conditioning fitted in June 2008 venting into saloon and aft cabin Comments Aquastar are renowned for their Sea keeping qualities of their boats with many of the marque being commissioned by various Government Agencies and commercial users alike.
