Construction

Hull deck and superstructure moulded in hand laid GRP with a Gelcoat finish now painted with a light blue hull and white decks with light blue non slip painted panels. Steering is by tiller onto a skeg hung rudder. The Hull and decks were re-painted and new antifoul applied May 2008

Engine

Auxiliary power is provided by a Yanmar 2GM20F twin cylinder naturally aspirated raw water cooled inboard diesel engine rated at 20hp driving a conventional shaft with a three bladed propeller. The engine installation was new in 2006.

Electrics

Accommodation
This craft offers 5 berths in two cabins including the saloon. These comprise of a twin berth in the forward cabin, Double berth in the saloon and a single quarter berth to starboard a dinette area is located amidships on the Port side with the Galley opposite to Starboard
The galley is equipped with a two burner gas cooker with oven and grill a sink with pressurized cold water supply a two ring electric hob and stowage behind and below the galley area. A heads compartment is located on the portside between the forward cabin and saloon and has a sea toilet, and basin with cold pressurized cold water supply. The cabin area is fitted with 12 volt strip lighting and other 12 volt type light fittings. Joinery is solid timber frames with veneered ply doors with upholstery in Draylon material.
Maximum standing headroom approx 6’. The accommodation also benefits from Eberspacher diesel warm air heating.

The Colvic Sailer 26 is a heavily built family cruising yacht with useful accommodation. The forgiving nature of this craft makes it ideal for the novice sailor and with the benefit of bilge keels makes her ideal for drying moorings and shallow waters.
