Construction:
Hull Deck and Superstructure moulded in hand laid Fibre Reinforced plastic with a white gelcoat finish. The hull design is a medium V planning hull with a long shallow ¾ length keel with a raked stem and flared bow, single chine and transom stern.
The waterline is determined by an 80mm Black Boot Topping whilst around the hull deck joint is a hard wood rubbing strake. To the stern is a Teak /Stainless steel bathing platform with stainless steel boarding ladder.
Engines/Machinery:
Power is provided by two Perkins 6353 6 cylinder inline turbo assisted inboard diesel engines rated at 175hp each with a reverse/reduction gearboxes. The engines are fresh water cooled through heat exchangers, oil coolers and have raw water exhausts. Engine operation is via twin lever morse type controls at both the lower helm and fly bridge positions. Both engines are electric start and are fitted with belt driven Alternators. At the lower Helm : Two tachometers, 2x temperature gauges,2 x Engine and gearbox Oil Pressure ,2 x Ammeters. ‘DreamBoat’ is also fitted with hydraulic trim tabs. Steering is of a rod and chain system. The starboard gearbox is known to leak oil and this is taken into account in the price.
Electrics:
This craft is supplied with 24/12 DC systems and a 240volt shore power system.
The 24/12 volt system 4 x 110amphr batteries new April 2008 and charged from the engine alternator 12vlt application are run from an Inverter to drop the voltage. Distribution is via a 16 gang fused switch fused panel with secondary panels at the lower helm position for instruments etc.

Accommodation:
‘DreamBoat’ offers 6 berths in three cabins including the saloon, comprising of a Double cabin aft with en-suite heads and shower compartment with hot and cold water supply , central island double bed with wardrobe and cabinet’s to either side. The raised saloon offers a three seater settee to starboard which converts to a further double with a single curved back chair and drop leaf table. To Port the full length of the saloon is furnished with Cupboard and draw storage space. Forward of this is the lower helm position.
As you drop down forward you will find to Port the forward heads shower compartment with hot and cold water supply whilst opposite is the galley complete with a Plastimo 2 burner cooker with oven and grill,12/240volt refrigerator, double sink with hot and cold mixer tap. 240volt Micro/convector oven. Within this area is also a
Tanoy Gas Sniffer gas alarm and both manual and powered ventilators.
The forward cabin is a twin berth cabin with Port and Starboard single berths with a central vanity unit.
This craft is also fitted with ‘Webasto’ diesel warm air heating. Within the accommodation headroom is offered at 6ft plus. Hot water is supplied via a ‘Paloma’ instantaneous gas water heater. All Head linings are in white vinyl
And in very good condition whilst bulkhead coverings are in a blue carpet type coating.
The large aft cockpit area offers ample space for at table and chairs. The Flybridge offers seating for 3 persons.
Comments:
A well respected Power Cruiser designed by the then designer of Princess Yachts. This craft makes for a comfortable passage maker.
‘Dreamboat’ is offered at a realistic asking price for her age and general condition. All the Nav aids are original and would benefit from being updated.
